Senior Vice
President Hironaka Terunuma has stewardship of Japan and Korea. Until
September 2001, Terunuma was the managing director of AEI-Maruzen, the top
foreign freight forwarder in Japan. Terunuma was
with Air Express International (AEI) for more than 30 years, joining them
in 1970 as an accounting clerk. He
steadily worked his way up the corporate at AEI-Maruzen, holding positions
such as general manager of accounting and administration, director and
chief financial officer, and was named managing director in 1995. Terunuma
was educated at the American Accounting School in Japan.
