Dear Valued S-Net Customer,

Starting 1 March 2002, Singapore will adopt an 8-digit phone and fax number format.  The digit "6" will be prefixed to all existing fixed line phone and fax numbers (mobile phone numbers remain unchanged).

Please reprogramme your speed dial on both fixed and mobile phones, fax machines, etc, with the new 8-digit numbering system, by adding “6” in front of the existing number.

For example, the phone number (65) 546 8118 will now become (65) 6546 8118.
